Preparation and safety inspection before starting work
Adequate preparation and full safety checks before commencing operation is the foundation for a smooth continuation of subsequent processes.
1. Personal protective equipment inspection and wearing
Operator must wear laser protective goggles that are compatible with the wavelength of the equipment's laser, safety shoes, cut resistant gloves, and appropriate hearing protection devices to meet safe operation minimum requirements.
2. Work environment inspection
The operator must check the work area of the equipment for cleanliness. Ensure that there are no tools, waste, or residual flammable items within reach. Check and confirm that the smoke exhaust and dust removal apparatus is properly connected, and has been powered on and is operating normally.
3. Equipment status confirmation
Check that the auxiliary gas (for example, oxygen, nitrogen, or compressed air) supply line is properly connected, with the pressure value set to meet the process parameters of the material in question, and check for leaks.Check laser focusing lens and cutting nozzle for cleanliness, contamination, and damages. Check equipment cooling system (e.g. water chiller) to ensure normal operation and temperature in range.
